The ACS Prom

It’s the time of year that every high schooler looks forward to… Prom Season! And whether your prom was 2 years ago or 20 years ago, I want to invite you to a special Prom I’m throwing for my wife Katie’s 25th Birthday! Team Hope is sponsoring this prom and all the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. This prom will be “The Time of Your Life”, we’re guaranteeing that. It’s the theme for the night!
What does a fund raising prom look like? Well, in many ways it’s going to be similar to your prom with dancing, finger food, gowns and tuxes. But at this prom, the Prom King, Princes and Princesses are all up for grabs. For $1 a vote you can elect your unsuspecting candidates to the court, or maybe put some votes in for yourself. Other fundraisers include a silent auction and raffling off the first dance with the Prom Queen.
And who is the Prom Queen? Well, the birthday girl of course! Katie never had a Prom because they don’t exist in England, so come out and make Katie’s first Prom “The Time of [Her] Life”!
There is a dress code, you have to dress up like you’re going to Prom. Of course, you can choose which decade you represent. We will be giving best dressed awards to the best 20′s-50′s, 60′s-70′s and 80′s-90′s best dressed couples. You can just come dressed contemporary if you’d like, but if you’re trying out for a decade award bring your A-game.
The suggested donation for tickets is $20 per couple. All proceeds from this event will go to Team Hope and the American Cancer Society. If you pre-order for your tickets before June 1st you will receive 2 free vouchers to be used towards voting on the prom court or entering the raffle for the first dance with the Prom Queen. Receive your vouchers when picking up your pre-ordered tickets at the door.
RSVP for “The Time of Your Life” Prom right now via the official Evite and donate for your tickets below.

Tamagotchi Shirts

I think it’s a valid question, how did you waste your childhood? Well, I don’t know if it encompassed my entire childhood, but I deffinately rocked the gigapet when it was cool in 1997.
My wife Katie and I recently went to a 90′s party and we didn’t have anything 90′s to wear, so we did the sensible thing and made a t-shirt for it. It rocks.
Now, I have the shirt ready to go and am set to take orders for a limited time. I can only make a few copies of this shirt, but I know there are some people out there ready to get one. Again, we are selling this shirt for the American Cancer Society and 100% of the profits are going to Team Hope’s fundraising efforts. If you want to be a part of eliminating cancer, you can support us by donating directly at this link or buying an awesome shirt.
Soon, I will start taking suggestions from people about what they want to see on a shirt. Have some input? Write it in the comments below! After I round up some good suggestions we will put it to a vote.
These shirts are white on black or navy blue, regular cut T-shirts or white on a black, form fitted woman’s shirt.
Tamagotchi Black Fitted T-shirt (Women’s style)
These shirts run small, it is recommended that you order a shirt at least one full size larger than you normally would buy.
Tamagotchi Black Regular Cut Shirt
Tamagotchi Navy Blue Regular Cut Shirt
Cupcake Shirts
It’s the inaugural shirt I’ve made with my screen printer and it’s for a good cause.
All profits from these shirt sales go to raise money for cancer research through the American Cancer Society (ACS). I am excited to be a part of a team of individuals aiming to make a difference.
So, why are there two fighting cupcakes on this shirt? The ACS is the “official sponsor of birthdays” and selling cupcakes is one of the biggest fundraisers our team is having. These shirts are celebrating those efforts and the hope we have for finding a cure.
Order your shirt now! They are $18 a piece and we have the shirt in three variations, a light-pink, fitted woman’s shirt, a dark-pink, regular cut shirt or a brown shirt that is great for guys. I set up a cart so you can easily donate to the cause online. Pick up your shirt from me in person or contact me and I can arrange to send it to you.
Thanks for supporting our fundraising team! For more information about Team Hope and the American Cancer Society, you can look at the Team Hope fundraising page.
